2048

Objective

Combine numbered tiles on a 4×4 grid. Every move slides all tiles in one direction; two tiles with the same value merge into a single tile worth their sum. Your goal is to create a tile with the number 2048.

Controls

• ↑ ↓ ← → or W A S D - Slide tiles
• Swipe in any direction on touch screens, or click and drag with the mouse
• U - Undo the last move
• N - Start a new game

Scoring

• Each merge adds the value of the new combined tile to your score.
• Your best score is saved in your browser and persists between visits.
• Everything runs locally — no data ever leaves your device.

Tips

• Keep your highest tile in a corner and build around it.
• Pick a dominant direction and avoid moves that break your setup.
• Use Undo to recover from a single mistake.
• The game ends only when no moves remain — plan ahead to keep options open.
